Updates for 2013 Travel

Hello Fellow Travelers


Rooms for hair show have been booked and their going fast,so if it's your intention to attend you need to jump on it.

Some will chose to attend the crowning ceremony,some will not. Of course you're free to scout around Atlanta by yourself,but traveling in numbers is always safer. We'll have afew activities to chose from including checking out afew popular spots.

Travel has not been decided upon as of yet. Some want to drive and some do not. We've done both previously,economically it's a toss up.When the final count is in some may want to car pool  depending on the number.I and afew others will be flying,I will keep you abreast of any airline deals for our destination.

It's been brought to my attention that some want to enjoy my
birthday with me. It works out,my birthday trip is a childless trip,so this year we'll be cruising for my birthday.

The dates have been set and now we're waiting for the artist line-up!!

This is a non-stop party if you choose it to be! Beach bums like myself have no problem partying at the concert til 5-6am and still meetup on the beach by 9am to get it started all over again!

Afew Fall Trips

It seems the year just started and its already half over!

But we're going to keep it moving,traveling,shopping and having a good time,at all times!

So we're heading  to Chicago on Sept 11 and returning Sept 13, this is a total Girl's Trip nothing but shopping and bar hopping Downtown Chicago returning Oct 25 for Shecky's GNO and again will hookup with our Chi-Town Chicas for nothing but Girl's Night Out Fun!!!

I will be posting a poll for midweek shopping trip to Lake of the Ozarks.

This will be a two night stay in a 5 bedroom condo on the lake.

The cost for stay for weekend will be split among participants as fas a accommodations but transportation to and from lake is totally on that person. Car pooling from St.Louis is a great possibility and will be looked at once trip is determined.

As we've done before,we'll hit Super Walmart and get whatever we need or want to cook for the weekend as far as breakfast and dinner. Lunch can be prepared from stuff at the condo or grab something while you're out shopping.

We'll have a parting dinner and breakfast before heading back to St.Louis,MO.


Our travel events  are warmups for book events coming up that we'll be attending,some as Straightup Hookups Literary Group Book Club and some as individuals.

A Mother's Day to remember!

We jetted off to Miami,my mom,seed and I!

Met up with the group on the ship!

Great group of interesting women and I'm looking forward to doing again next year!

We had a few meals together and a meet and greet,other than that it was freestyling all the way!!!

So I hung out with my son,while my mom hung out with afew other mothers. You see my son and I are beach bums,we could live on the beach if we could. My mother is a whole different story,she'll accompany but soon depart! Gotta love her!

My son made friends,played basketball,drove some golf balls on the range,played arcade games went to teen center played wii and other games he was a very happy camper. I made a few connections within  our group and outside.

It's always cool to meet someone cool while traveling!

Can't wait til the weekend baby!!!

We're heading to Chicago Friday,to get our girlfriend time in with shopping,sight seeing and just plain ole traveling fun.

We're heading to Shecky's Girls Night Out Friday @ Union Station,we'll chill there for afew hours.

We'll hit a couple of bars while heading back to hotel,have a few drinks at the hotel,chit chat and freshen up.

Weather permitting.........

Our Chi-Town Chicas are taking us out to a couple of clubs in the burbs and around the city!

Saturday it's rise and shine,hit trolley time!!!

Yes, we'll take the hop on/off sightseeing trolley that gets you to all 14 major sights in dowtown Chicago.

Chicago Hop On/Hop Off Sightseeing Tour

• 9:00am until 7:00pm (last pickup is at 5:00pm)

The tour vehicles will be coming to each stop every 10 - 15 minute during the summer months. The winter months vary depending on weather.
